How To Book a Trip
We require a %50 customer deposit to confirm dates. No trips are booked without and a trip contract filled out and sent in with the deposit. We can take CC over the phone or checks mailed in to us or direct bank transfers. The balance is due 45 days prior to arrival unless other arrangements have been made to pay in cash upon arrival. As we do not accept CC or checks in theses remote areas, as we have no access to normal banking. If you have any further questions please call us. We also will give you a link to our PDF Travel Planner once you book with us . Our trips are 100% nonrefundable due to the remote areas and level of customization so we recommend travel insurance. We have a few links to different companies so do your homework before you buy.
Traveling to ADAK*Coldbay *Island -X
Traveling to Remote Alaska
All our trips start by coming through Anchorage Alaska as we recommend our guest's stay over the night at the Lakeside Hotel/Millenium before catching your 737 flight on Alaska Air to Adak, or a Saab 340 to Coldbay or our private charter to Island X . The hotel has complete airport shuttle, restaurant and freezer facilities so you don't have to travel anywhere if you wish.
The Alaska Air flights can be purchased online to Adak and air miles can be used to make it easier. Along with flights on Raven/Pennair to Coldbay as our standard flights are on Saturdays and there's only one flight a day. Once you arrive we will personally meet you at the airport and transfer you to the lodge. The cost for direct flights on the commercial airlines to any of our locations average between $950-$1050 pp rd trip. We highly recommend getting an Alaska Air Credit card and use airmiles. How To Travel with Guns & Outdoor Gear
We highly recommend the lockable Tuffpak brand of airplane approved gun cases. We personally use them and you can pack your gun,ammo and clothes along with waders all in one pack . Then carry a small backpack carry on with meds , cameras and 1 change of clothes for emergency. For trophy ducks transport we recommend a soft sided cooler bag as your carryon. In Coldbay we supply free 50lb wax fish boxes for all guests fish or game to go home, so need for coolers.
Buying Licenses and Stamps ahead of time

All our trips take place in remote areas and seldomly due they sell licenses/tags or stamps need in Alaska to legally hunt or fish. We have enclosed a Link below to go to the Alaska Dept Fish and Game store to purchase them directly. Do not show up without your proper licenses/stamps and tags as we will not let you participate until you are 100 % legal to do so.
Required for duck hunting
A current small game license from Alaska along with a Alaska waterfowl state stamp and federal waterfowl stamp. For fishing you will need either a 7 day or season fishing license. For caribou a big game hunting license and a caribou locking tag/permit.
Nonresident Emperor Goose hunters must have there Emperor goose permit in hand. AK residents can apply over the counter for a permit.

We want you to consider purchasing Travel Insurance
For all hunts booked Nov-Jan. Bad weather can delay or cancel your dream hunt, and our portion of the trip is paid in full ahead of time and there are no refunds due to acts of god, flight delays or weather cancellations. As in any hunt in Alaska Sometimes un- foreseen circumstances occur that are out of anyone’s control, such as flight cancellations, weather delays, and illness. Purchasing travel insurance will give you the peace of mind that your expenses will be covered if anything unexpected should happen. We don't endorse any one travel insurance company but have used the ones below in the past with good results. Please read all the information before choosing the right insurance for you. Set up your travel insurance right after you book your airline tickets and pay your deposits as many of the policies require it within 7-14 days maximum with proof.
Alcoholic Beverages
Drinking at the lodges
We do not supply alcoholic beverages, nor do we sell them. If you wish to have alcoholic beverages during your stay with us, please purchase them in town (Anchorage - Coldbay - Adak as they have full service stories but beware a case of beer in the bush is about $45-55 a case. Please keep in mind intoxication will be avoided and not tolerated in the lodge or consumed while hunting,fishing in any of our boats or vehicles. But feel free to bring some spirits to celebrate after a long days hunt. Also beer and wine is available on island X but no hard liquor from the local store.
